피아노 독주와 함께 <파이널 판타지> 속 아름답고 역동적인 영상이 함께하는 공연으로 구성되어 있다. 본 공연은 기본적으로 피아노 독주 구성이며, 무대 뒤 큰 스크린을 배경으로 게임 영상과 피아노 연주가 함께하는 형식으로 진행된다. 피아노에 음향, 조명으로 구성되는 이번 공연에서는 특별한 음반 패키지와 함께 연주자, 작곡가와의 만남의 자리가 구성된 스페셜 패키지(VIP석) 판매도 예정되어 있다. <피아노 오페라>는 스퀘어 에닉스(Square Enix)에서 발매된 3장의 앨범을 기본으로 하고 있는데, 이 앨범은 전 세계에서 엄청난 반향을 이끌면서 세계 투어의 시작을 알리게 했으며 그 인기에 발맞추어 최근 음반이 재발매되기도 했다. 본 공연을 통해 <파이널 판타지>의 특별한 세계를 맛볼 수 있을 것이다.

Produced by SQUARE ENIX, “PIANO OPERA : music from FINAL FANTASY” is the official piano concerto dedicated to the music of the video game series FINAL FANTASY. Supervised by original composer Nobuo Uematsu, the PIANO OPERA series comes live on stage for the first time in France. Revive the most beautiful and famous music of the series through the noble and majestic sound of a grand concert piano, focusing mostly on the popular FINAL FANTASY VI, VII, VIII and IX ! And to enhance the experience, an unseen in concert video edit of game footage will be displayed on giant screen along with each music, portraying all the most intense moments of action and emotion of the saga! The concert will feature among others : Ami, The Man with a Machine Gun, Roses of May, Not Alone, Liberi Fatali, Melodies Of Life, Fight On!, Cosmo Canyon, Words Drowned by Fireworks, etc... A brand new musical experience filled with emotions!

ABOUT PIANO OPERA : music from FINAL FANTASY
PIANO OPERA is originally a SQUARE ENIX collection of 3 albums reviving the music of the first nine episodes of the FINAL FANTASY series on piano alone, directly supervised by the original composer Nobuo Uematsu, and performed by famous pianist Hiroyuki Nakayama. To celebrate the start of the world tour, the 3 CDs have been reunited in a brand new special edition, featuring a collector box and english texts in the booklet.

ABOUT NOBUO UEMATSU
Nobuo Uematsu is one of the most celebrated composers in the video game field. He has achieved global recognition for his work on the FINAL FANTASY series that has been performed by world-class orchestras around the world. Nobuo Uematsu has been recognized as a major contributor in the increasing appreciation and awareness of video game music. A prime example is the “FINAL FANTASY VIII” theme song, “Eyes on Me,” composed and produced by him. His song featured Hong Kong pop star Faye Wong and sold a record 400,000 copies. It also won “Song of the Year (Western Music)” at the 14th Annual Japan Gold Disc Awards in 1999, which was the first time in history that music from a video game had attained this illustrious honor. The music from the game series has grown to such notoriety, Nobuo Uematsu was named as one of the “Innovators” in Time Magazine’s “Time 100: the Next Wave Music “ feature.

ABOUT HIROYUKI NAKAYAMA
Hiroyuki Nakayama graduated in music at Tokyo University of Arts. Since then he has been a reknown arranger and performer in the video game music world. Among others, he have arranged and performed the PIANO OPERA : music from FINAL FANTASY albums, and contributed to numerous high level games soundtracks such as Kingdom Hearts, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon or Xenoblade, and even Fullmetal Alchemist for anime. As a pianist, Nakayama performed numerous times with the Japan Philarmonic Orchestra in movie soundtracks and commercial projects. He recently received the price of the best musical accompaniment in the Tokyo vocal contest. In 2010, sponsored by NHK, Nakayama played in Warsaw and Paris for the Chopin bicentenary. He is now part of NHK cultural shows like “Piano Masterpiece ? story of a musical performance”.
